Meet the Spirits is this Sunday, October 19, between noon and 5 pm at Columbia Cemetery. Come and meet some of Boulder’s most dearly departed! Eben G. Fine, Mary Rippon, and James P. Maxwell are just a few of the costumed “spirits” who will rise from their graves in Columbia Cemetery for just one afternoon to tell their stories. Get into the Halloween spirit with Victorian mourners, funereal music, vintage hearses, and a reenactment of a solemn Masonic burial service by members of Columbia Lodge #14! New this year is a “Cemetery Symbolism Scavenger Hunt” for children including prizes.
Tickets: $12 for Historic Boulder members; $15 for non-members; $5 children/students under 16. Tickets available at the Main Gate located at Ninth & Pleasant Streets and the Ninth Street and College Avenue Gate on tour day or in advance at www.historicboulder.org.

Presented in cooperation with the City of Boulder Parks and Recreation Department. Proceeds benefit Columbia Cemetery and Historic Boulder, Inc.
